DemandMind (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a forecasting tool for Shopify merchants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you install and use the DemandMind Shopify app or visit our website. By using DemandMind, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Shopify Store Data (Required to Provide Services)

When you install DemandMind, we access certain Shopify store data needed to generate forecasts, including:

• Order history (line items, order timestamps)
• Product and variant information (SKU, title, variant name)
• Basic store information (store ID, store domain)

We do not access:

• Customers’ personal information (names, emails, addresses)
• Payment information
• Any private Shopify admin data unrelated to forecasting

2. Usage Data

We may collect anonymized usage patterns such as:

• Forecast horizon selections

This helps us improve the app but cannot identify you.

3. Contact Information

If you email us or request support, we may receive your:

• Name
• Email address
• Store domain

This information is used only for support.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data solely to:

• Generate SKU-level sales forecasts
• Power trending product analysis
• Improve forecasting accuracy over time
• Provide exportable reports (CSV, XLSX, PDF)
• Maintain and improve app performance

We do not:

• Sell your data
• Share your data with third parties
• Use your store data for marketing
• Train external AI models on your store data

Forecasting models run only for your store.

How We Store & Protect Your Data

• All store data is processed securely.
• Data access is restricted to authorized systems.
• We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit.
• No store data is publicly accessible at any time.

How Long We Store Your Data

• Store-connected data is retained only while the app is installed.
• All store data is automatically deleted within 48 hours of uninstall.
• You may request earlier deletion at any time (see contact below).

Your Rights

You may:

• Request a copy of the data DemandMind stores about your business.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of all store data (manual or automatic after uninstall).

We comply with all Shopify merchant data rights.

Third-Party Services

DemandMind does not sell or share your data with third parties. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers strictly for operating the app, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy

DemandMind is intended for business owners and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly store any data related to minors.
